Makeship is a company that partners with independent artists and creators to turn original characters into limited-edition plushies.

What is the petition?
Before the official plush campaign begins, Makeship runs a 10-day petition to gauge interest in the project.
If the petition reaches 200 supporters, Makeship will move forward with the next stage of bringing AkoBuns to life.

How much does it cost to support the petition?
Supporting the petition costs $2 USD.
If the petition reaches its goal, your $2 USD pledge will be applied toward your plush purchase, and the remaining balance will be charged when the official campaign launches.
If the petition doesn't reach 200 supporters, your $2 USD pledge will be fully refunded.
What happens after the petition?
If the petition reaches 200 supporters, Makeship will begin working with me on the plush prototype.
Once the design has been finalized, the official campaign will launch. At that point, your $2 USD pledge will be applied toward your order and the remaining balance will be charged.

How much will the plush cost?
The AkoBuns plush will be $29.99 USD.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes! Makeship ships to most countries around the world.
How much is shipping?
Current shipping rates are:
- 🇨🇦 Canada: $8.99 USD
- 🇺🇸 United States: $11.99 USD (includes tariff handling)
- 🌎 Most other countries: $8.99 USD
Shipping is handled directly by Makeship.
When will I receive my plush?
Since every plush is made after the campaign ends, production takes a few months before shipping.
The current estimated delivery is around end of 2026 to early 2027, although this timeline may change as the project progresses. If the petition is successful, Makeship will provide a more accurate production and shipping timeline as the project progresses.
Is this a limited-edition plush?
Yes.
This particular AkoBuns plush design is a limited-edition collaboration with Makeship. Once the campaign has ended, this design will no longer be available through Makeship.
Can I support the petition even if I'm not sure?
Yes!
